Antares Cerveza Artesanal

A mi criterio tendría que ponerle una calificación ese 3,5 estrellas... Siento que con 3 me quedo corto pero que ya no se merece las 4 que le hubieses puesto hace un tiempo.
Por qué? Principalmente porque la comida decayó en calidad. No es mala, pero ya no es lo que era.
Al transformarse en un bar franquicia, se industrializó y platos tales como sus famosas "papas Antares" se volvieron algo similar a lo que se puede pedir en otros bares.
Otro factor negativo es el tiempo de espera en la puerta, pero respecto a eso no creo que se pueda hacer mucho.
Lo positivo, las cervezas! Van agregando variedades y siguen manteniendo la calidad de siempre.

Not a typical BA type of place. It is a larger physical, smaller selection wise version of the Bier Market in Toronto.
The chicken stir fry was great, the pizzas just ok and the beers were a decent selection of international brews. A bit pricey by BA standards.
I think there are better options in Palermo but hey, I'm comparing this to Toronto, so it's probably a bit harsh to give it 3 only!
Safe to try in a great area.

I really liked Antares! It has a very modern and hip ambiance, good music and not too loud. The waiters were very nice and attentive. Antares has a good selection of their own crafted beer, we tried a few of them and they were all great. BOGO free (2x1) before 8pm. We also had the cheese platter and the nachos and they were fine, nothing amazing but they were good for sharing and having a bite while drinking. Oh I almost forgot... very good desserts! I will definitely come back the next time I visit Buenos Aires!

Drink it! Have a beer or 2 if going at 7 pm (one hour of Happy Hour). Try the Papas Antares! These are great and usually come out fast! Beer and fries it's a must in Antares Palermo!

Another typical bar franchise where the barmen are rude and don't give a shit about the customers, I walked in and asked for a beer, the barman shouted at me HOLA HOLA like I was being rude them walked away. He returned and looked at me like what do I want. They have no idea how to serve a beer or customers.

So we went to this establishment with very high hopes! We walked in around 7:00(19:00) and attempted to take a seat at the bar. We were immediately yelled at to move away from a certain set of seats ( In not the nicest way) we then took some other seats near the end of the bar section. We sat. We waited. Finally, we received some menus....(10 minutes in) Then others sat next to us, 3 DIFFERENT GROUPS. They all received menus and they all received BEERS (20 minutes in).....We are still sitting...waiting to order...we decided to wait a bit longer (30 minutes in) after not being served we decided to leave. I think serving people that arrive after you and not serving you for 30+ minutes is a international sign that we do not want your money. Maybe they are Anti- American, maybe they don't like certain skin Colors, but they will certainly did not get my Dollars ( or pesos in this case) tonight. I will certainly let all of my friends know this is not the place to go when in BA. Kindness goes a long way!

Don't go. The slowest service on earth. You must beg to place an order and after paying the bill, they assume all of the money is theirs. I repeat. Do not go.
