AMAZING service. Everyone is beyond friendly and helpful. When we left (literally checked out and everything) I guess the front desk person saw us struggling to get a taxi, and walked out to help us. He could have just let us fend for ourselves, but nope. He helped us get a larger taxi for the group.

Not only that, whenever we left the hotel for the day, they always offered water. If anyone knows about traveling, you're always dehydrated, so that was really helpful.

The hotel room itself was nice, no complaints.

The breakfast food is also really good. They have a variety, and it's tasty.

Definitively is not 4+ star hotel. Max 3 star

      Rooms are outdated.

Flooring has a lot a dirty marks.

There are no places to put clothing, except a couple of hangers. So expect to live off you suite cases.

Shower door did not work properly - sealer was coming off.

We forgot a couple of items

First they could not find them for several days and finally
hotel wants to ship for $121 euro. Outrageous and unfair.

The location of this hotel is perfect. A 2 minute walk from the aerobus (take from the airport to this hotel) A few minute walk to Las Ramblas (busy street with center walking area with shops) and a few minutes to Passeig Di Gràcia (5th Avenue of BCN) we didn't get to go to the market la boqueria but It is right off Las Ramblas so it's also super close. Parc Güell is a subway ride away and the subway is right across from this hotel! The staff was super sweet and very accommodating. The WiFi was good and strong and allows up to 5 devices for one room. We didn't get the breakfast but there is a cafe right next door to get coffee and croissants in the morning! Perfect area not loud at all. The rooms were small but nothing we couldn't work with. I would definitely stay here again!

I love this hotel! Location is the best! Close to attractions, shopping and restaurants. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. As in EVERYONE! You just feel at home. Nice modern cozy lobby. The rooms are big and well appointed.

We had a good stay here for New Year's Eve. The hotel is modern and clean. Our suite faced the Placa Catalunya, it was perfect for our needs. Breakfast buffet was quite good. The location is central in a very busy tourist area, an easy walk to Las Ramblas and other attractions.

When I was researching this and other hotels in central Barcelona, reviews were so mixed but majority good - then, we came across a video posted by another traveler and that is what made us choose this hotel - it's always nice to have such a perspective (people always post pics but rarely videos.)

I'll make this short & sweet:

      Pros:
      1. Exceptionally sweet & accomodating staff (and yes, they speak English very well.) Eli is wonderful!
      2. Clean & Modern room - decor is simple but pretty cool
      3. Our room wasn't at the front of the hotel & we preferred this as streetfront could get quite noisy
      4. Comfortable bed (Queen) & pillows
      5. Shower - let's just say, I want to take it home with me (yes, warm water comes quite quickly)
      6. Abundance of mirrors (ladies will appreciate this) ;)
      7. Central location - furthest we walked was bout half an hour to Sagrada...of course, we spent hours strolling Las Ramblas, Gothic Quarter, etc but were never really more than 10-15 mins walking distance from the hotel
      8. Breakfast Buffet - Nespresso Machine & make your own mimosas. Need I say more? (Yes, traditional American/English brkfst choices were available.)
      9. Transportation - though the hotel doesn't have an airport/attraction shuttle, they can arrange a taxi for you in mere minutes...we were never inconvenienced by this
      10. Great WiFi connection

      "Cons" (not really but...)
      1. Toilet area takes some getting used to. The room we had, which I believe was a "standard" Queen, had the open concept bathroom. So, vanity/sink area is out in the open and there are 2 separate enclosures for the toilet/shower, which are right next to each other & separated by thick glass (semi-transparent.) I would NOT recommend sharing this room with an acquaintance or work colleague (unless you are really comfortable with each other.)
      2. No carpeting - oh well...despite that, floor was not cold or frigid to walk on anddd they give you slippers to use anyways :)
      3. No coffeemaker in the room (I am not sure if this is an "American norm" but I did miss that....)
      4. Lights - either all on, 80% on or 5% on lol - can't really control them very much
      5. Minimal American/English tv - granted that we didn't come to Barcelona to sit in our hotel & watch tv but CNN, USA or a few major US channels would be nice....

I really don't have any "cons" that would deter me from returning - I would definitely stay here again!

I'd, again, like to emphasize how great the staff is : from giving us a nice honeymoon surprise in our room (bottle of bubbly with sweets) to helping us arrange a "to-go" style brekfast for our 7AM flight, they have been wonderful. We still have one more night here and hope it continues as nicely as it has been so far :)

It's been a great honeymoon & birthday trip in Barcelona!

Excellent food and great service. Lunch was about 22 euro for a three course meal (with an amazing salad starter) and unlimited wine or champagne. Service was great in a great outdoor space.

I felt strange eating in the hotel while visiting Barcelona but the flood was exceptional. Service at this location has been consistently great. Would recommend staying here and grabbing food as well.

Wonderful hotel. My husband and I spent 4 days in Barcelona at this great hotel for our anniversary. The staff go above and beyond of what you need.
They made our stay that extra special. When we arrived we had a bottle of champagne in our room a beautiful suite overlooking the Placa Catalunya. This hotel is very central close to all attractions , restaurants and shopping. You can walk to everything. I would highly recommend this hotel you will not be disappointed. Why would you stay anywhere else??? I would stay there again and again...
      Thanks for the wonderful stay.

This place is super modern which I hate. Despite the decor the staff is really friendly and helpful. The place seems clean an fairly well maintained. They have 3 elevators that only fit 4 ppl max, 2 w luggage, it's pretty annoying. Food at Breakfast buffet is right on, eggs, bacon, salmon, pastries, donuts filled w nutella omg. Room is nice, bed is comfy, bathroom is one of those open ones which I can't stand, toilet is in a stall, which allows everyone in the room to hear u handle business and no exhaust fans, maybe it's just us uptight Americans. Free wifi is a plus yet it disconnects after a period on non use. Hotel location is great, in the middle of everything. Stay away from restaurants on main streets as most are tourist traps w crap food and severely overpriced. Journey down side streets and look for most crowded spots off the main streets. Overall we had a good time and w exception of hotel design and stupid bathroom setup, the hotel was great.
