November Fireworks diaplay - a great destination all year round. The Llandudno pier is free to use and dog friendly.

The Victorian wood floored pier is a long walk out and across the ocean.

The 2019 fireworks display was spectacular when viewed from the pier.

Super cute old fashioned pier, well maintained and studded symmetrically with cute little shops selling trinkets, wares and ice cream (Cornish ice cream in Wales, what now?!) and even a Harry Potter shop for whatever, quite possibly profit making reason.

Good views when it isn't misty, free to walk down, which surprised us- we're guessing the rent on the little shops pay for the upkeep- and worth noting, that you can't really see the water through the slats if you're a regular heel wearer or a nervous pier walker.

It's no wonder that Llandudno hold a victoriana weekend with historical staples like this one hanging around.

You can fish off the end too.

The pier is the ultimate Llandudno landmark, its the full stop , its the ultimate Llandudno place and I map Llandudno by how far everywhere else is from the pier. Llandudno is probably the best uk holiday destination with the most to offer and the pier is the hub around which the rest of Llandudno's many places revolve around. Llandudno has many jewels in its crown and the pier is the diamond.

Llandudno itself is picturesque as is the countryside surrounding it. The pier is a traditional Victorian one and there is lots to do and see.

However, my advice if you look foreign or have darker than caucasian skin is to stay away from the cheeseman on Llandudno Pier.

It's a beautiful country but my wife doesn't want to return. I'm finding it difficult to convince her that not all the Welsh are unpleasant racists like the cheeseman on Llandudno Pier.

Llandudno Pier overlooks the North Shore of Llandudno and on a nice sunny day this area of Northern Whales provides the ultimate relaxation views of the Irish Sea and stunning Victorian establishments.

Living in California it's not very often I compliment a Pier but I guess I just did. The Llandudno Pier is not a typical boardwalk, very old school feel designed for a young family or for a couple on romantic get away. In my case for singleton's an opportunity to gain perspective on how much beauty there is all over the world.

I worked on Llandudno Pier about 25 years ago when I was doing my A-Levels. They made us dress up in blazers that looked like they'd been made out of old deck chairs. Not much has changed since then, it's still the same old-fashioned (in a good way!) tourist attraction it was back then. You can buy all sorts of tat from the gift shops, waste a couple of quid in one the arcades then have a quick beer in the bar at the far end or a cup of tea in the cafe.

A good old fashioned family day out.

A lovely pier that has stood the test of time and won.
Here, apart from great views, you will find shops, childrens rides, mini golf, bars, an arcade and food places.
The variety of entertainment on the pier is great for all the family, average prices on the entertainment and its only really busy in the summer months, so you don't have to worry about there being tons of people everywhere.

Llandudno pier is a very old-fashioned, Victorian style pier, which is great. The pier has two entrances - the first begins on the sea front, where all the Victorian-style hotels and houses are, and the second is towards the road that leads up to Great Orme. The two are separated by a fishing tackle shop (where one can book to fish at the end of the pier), a gift shop, a rock shop, a card shop and an amusement arcade, before joining again to meet as one pier.

Further up the pier there are little huts selling traditional beach-front fare: a candyfloss stall, a rock stall, a photograph stall and one selling shells and other seaside gits. At there end of the pier there's another amusement arcade in the centre, with a cafe to the right and a bar to the left. Beyond this is the area where people can fish, having paid £3 at the fishing tackle shop. No matter what time of year it is, there is always someone fishing here.

The pier is wonderfully traditional and a great treat. It's decorated in blue and white, with wooden beams on the floor and walking back let's you see the whole Llandudno - to the right, the mountain, with 'LLANDUDNO' written on the bank, and to the left, the old-fashioned Victorian beach-front street, all painted in pastel colours.

A very sweet pier in a lovely little town. Almost feels like you're going back in time a little. Well worth a visit.

The pier is a beautiful Victorian structure, very dilapidated but it looks like they're currently working on it.

There's some nice shops, including an amazing picture shop, a football shop, a rock shop and a really nice aromatherapy shop. The cafe at the end is very shabby but the bar opposite it is very cosy and is a great place to sit with a beer to look at the view.

Definitely worth a walk along, with beautiful views out to sea and then back to the town.
