There's something undeniably sexy about a club residing in the shadows of a bridge, an underground vibe. When said bridge is the historic Pont Alexandre III on the Seine, however, a highbrow club comes to mind.

Rest assured - past its bouncers - the atmosphere is very, very electric.

This cavernous venue hosts a booming sound system, and psychedelic lights underscore its vaulted ceilings. Amidst the brick environs, DJs spin techno remixes peppered with hip-hop to keep the sea of partygoers going, while bartenders mix drinks and shots (they take credit cards) for the thirsty. Be warned: Even if you don't dance, the crowd's energy is contagious.

This place would be awesome...if you could remove most of the people who go there and reconfigure the set up a bit - plus it would be nice if they served some decent drinks. I went for a DJ duo that I really like and was really pumped to see live in Paris and ended up less than satisfied with my experience.

The venue is beautiful and it's too bad that they have failed to make good use of that HUGE asset.

My first frustration came waiting in line where this young kid (16/17 year old? -clearly hailing from the 16th or 8th arrondisement) would not stop practically dry-humping me because he was in SUCH a rush to get in the door. He was on the Blackberry the whole time yelling at his friends (and in my ear since he is attached to me) about how they needed to hurry up (what are you doing with a Blackberry at that age? they are expensive and went out of style two years ago - I guess it must be Daddy's old one). I told him to that he needed to give me some more space and he responded that he was COLD... Awkward.

Then the place is enormous...but they let in so many people that it is nearly impossible to move inside. Plus their is a giant bar that divides one side from the other, making it very difficult to switch between the two. And the stage is set up in a way that you cannot really see unless you are really close or you stage or on the step up to the bar. And given that the space is super long (it is under a bridge) you have a strong current of drunk people flowing past you at all times (again unless you secure a place on the step up from the bar).

The drinks are not very good (I expect more for 10 euros - sorry...I already paid to enter the place) and you cannot order shots from the bar. Instead you have to go to a special little bar with one poor girl who serves everyone. The toilets are also poorly laid out and a bathroom break can take 30 minutes.

I would come back here to show friends from out of town a beautiful venue in Paris (hence two stars and not one), but I would need to get their early - and then we could leave and go someone fun (thus not three stars). Otherwise, if I am just with people from Paris, I would go just about anywhere else (except maybe Le Queen) if I am given the choice.

I went to this club a few times, usually with a group of friends (5 to 15 people) over the weekend. This club usually charges a cover to get in, but you can sometimes go around it if you register on the guest-list online.

The club's main area is very large even though it is composed of only one main room. The shots/drinks offered by this club are pretty pricey and you should expect to spend a significant amount of money on them if you don't have a table. The cocktails are usually around 12 euros which is not overly expensive for Paris.

The best thing about this club for me is its location, right under the Alexandre III bridge, which means that you will get a pretty spectacular view when you come out of it at night. The architecture of this club is also pretty beautiful with a great atmosphere inside. Their DJs are usually not very famous, so I would not recommend this club if you want to see very famous DJs performing.

Be aware that this place does not offer parking, and that it can be tricky to find street parking in the area. It is easy to access this club if you take the Subway though.

Overall, my experience with this place is very positive and I would definitely recommend it if you're looking to have a good night in Paris over the weekend. Feel free to message me for any additional details that you may need!

5 stars for the venue, 3 stars for the drinks.

This is honestly one of the best venues I've ever been to. The sound system here is impeccable, and the bass is so heavy that it reverberates off your chest regardless of where you're standing. Lights coordinate flawlessly with the music, and the vibes of the place are just great overall. My friend and I saw the Magician here, and had the most memorable experience dancing the night away!

The beer and energy drinks here are quite good (5€ for a beer, 8€ for a Corona), but the mixed drinks are very, very weak. Highly recommend getting your fix before you come to the venue. Shots are 5€, small, and must be taken at the bar.

All in all, highly recommend this place. Drinks may be more expensive than usual, but I guarantee that the music will leave you with some of the best memories.

      The good:

Location - under a bridge on the Seine! Spectacular.

Place - spacious, new club. Decently sized decently-packed smoking area out back. Long line, but we got in from signing up to their list (and saying we did - we don't think the bouncer ever really checked) beforehand so that was free and fast.

I liked the music, too. It was techno, and close to the DJ everyone was really into it and super energized.

Closes late - we stayed till 5AM.

      The horrible:

The bathrooms - They started out ok, but the later it got, the worse it got. The lines got huge fast and the girls got drunk and aggressive. Between the drunk girls who were puking, the obnoxious girls who were pushing others out of the way to cut the line, and the retaliating girls who were slapping and yelling at the obnoxious ones, waiting in line for the bathroom was like watching the largest reality TV cat fight ever on the show Bathroom for your Life.

People - Oh, and what I really didn't like - the people. There was the French girl who out of the blue started yelling and cursing at me, hitting me and violently pushing me away with both hands. Everyone looked at her strangely, but no one tried to stop her. And there were the two guys that were hitting on us and asked where we were from, and when they found out I was Russian, they insulted me and yelled that Russians suck.

So much for French hospitality. Oh, sorry, is that an oxymoron?

Le Showcase is a great venue, located just at the open space under the subway. Go down the stairs when youre close to go over the bridge, and youll get to this huge entrance.

The toilets are a bit weird, almost like going outside, ánd you can actually see your neighbours through the plexiglass.

The crowd is fashionable, 25plus, and ready to party! Most of the bartenders were gay; and the present gaycrowd knew exactly how to make use of that...At the bar: Be gay = wait 2 min, Be straight = wait up to 15 min.

The Jazz concert I visited featured a few of the best upcoming bands from all over the world, and the atmosphere was great!

All in all, its pretty expensive but the location and interior (totally Paris, with industrial highlights) definitely makes it something special.

I'm from Los Angeles and I came to Paris for a trip in June. The showcase was on my list of to do's since its known for having good acts roll through and I had heard a lot about it. I came here to see Ettienne de Crecy and Mumbai Science on a Saturday night and it was one of the best things I did on this trip. The location is underneath a bridge. Its actually quite big inside and the sound is incredible. I go to a lot of shows in the states and this place had some of the best sound I had ever heard anywhere. There are 3 big bars. The bar closest to the front door has shots of vodka, gin, and tequila but you have to take them in the shots area and they're really tiny.

This music venue/club is actually located under the bridge to the invalides, yes, that's right, under the bridge, you can see the eiffel tower from the second exit if you go for a smoke. The place is huge, probably one of the biggest dancefloors in Paris, it's also nicely decorated (some tables are actually vintage arcade machines) and lit (neons that shift colours and an impressive array of mechanical lights). The music is really good, they feature cool DJs every weekend (Josh Wink was there celebrating the tenth Anniversary of OVUM). And their big parties can host about 2000 people (Halloween night was pretty awesome). You better come early if you don't want to wait forever to get in, the SHOWCASE attracts all sorts of people from Paris and from overseas, it's loud and crowded, with people from all ages. Heavely recommended if you like to party hard!

Showcase has a great atmosphere and awesome musical acts. You'll enjoy the club, if you can get past their bouncers. I speak French and the bouncer asked me to take out my ID. I said the French equivalent of a "yeah sure" and he proceeded to tell me in English to address him with a formal "yes" and to call him "sir" "You'll say yes sir, no sir when spoken to" (he was around my age) he then proceeded to get very threatening, knowing very well that if I returned the aggression he had the ability to not let me in or could have even physically assaulted me. Some people go on power trips I guess. It makes the whole club look very thuggish and unprofessional as a result. If it wasn't so sick inside my rating would be a 1.
